Some of the artists River worked with were; Hirum Koppelman, Bob Gray, Jack Tworkove, Lester Johnston, Alfred Leslie, Tom Piper. Tremendously prolific, River’s work alternately pursues a mythic feel, and pictorial description as with "Portraits Of Place". His "periods" often develop simultaneously in a continuous stream. His work can be found in private collections throughout the world. Other areas of achievement include: music, poetry, writing, and movie making.
